OVI was born out of frustration and the desire for something better by two friends from Melbourne, Australia. We were tired of period care that felt like an afterthought – uncomfortable, unpredictable, and way too visible in our daily lives. We wanted something that actually worked with our lives, not against them. So we designed the OVI Disc: a reusable disc that’s comfy, clever, and disappears into your routine (and your body).
So we set out to design something better from the ground up, starting with a simple question:
WHAT IF YOUR PERIOD PRODUCT ACTUALLY WORKED IN THE BACKGROUND, WITHOUT INTERRUPTING YOUR LIFE?
That question sparked months of testing, prototyping, and late-night design calls. And finally, the OVI Disc was born.
