At OVI Disc, we stand behind the quality of our products. Due to the intimate and personal hygiene nature of menstrual care products, we have a strict returns policy. However, we're committed to resolving issues quickly if something goes wrong.

This policy applies to all purchases made through ovidisc.com and covers Australian and international customers.


2. WHAT CAN BE RETURNED?

We accept returns only in the following circumstances:

2.1 Defective Products

  • Manufacturing defect (e.g., cracking, discoloration, material degradation)
  • Product does not function as intended upon arrival
  • Structural damage

2.2 Damaged in Transit

  • Product arrived visibly damaged or broken
  • Packaging severely compromised during shipping
  • Product damaged due to carrier negligence

2.3 Wrong Item Received

  • Incorrect size, colour, or product sent
  • Order discrepancy (e.g., ordered Medium-Heavy, received Light-Medium)

3. WHAT CANNOT BE RETURNED

We cannot accept returns or exchanges for:

  • Change of mind — Product not what you expected or preferred
  • Fit or comfort issues — Personal preference or anatomy differences
  • Opened/used products — For hygiene and safety reasons
  • Normal wear and tear — Expected degradation after use
  • Products damaged by misuse — Improper insertion, cleaning, or storage
  • Missing accessories — If carry case or components were lost after purchase
  • Expired products — Beyond recommended lifespan (5 years)

4. RETURN ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

To be eligible for a return, you must:

  1. Contact us within 14 days of receiving your order
  2. Provide your order number and proof of purchase
  3. Include photographic evidence of the defect or damage (clear, well-lit photos)
  4. Product must be unused (except for inspection/testing to confirm defect)
  5. Original packaging should be retained if possible
  6. Not have modified the product in any way

Returns initiated after 14 days will be assessed on a case-by-case basis but are not guaranteed.


5. HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN

  • 2-3 clear photos of the defect/damage

Step 2: Await Response We will respond within 5 business days. Our team will:

  • Review your claim
  • Ask follow-up questions if needed
  • Approve or decline the return

Step 3: Ship Product Back (if approved)

  • We will provide a return shipping address
  • Note: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the return is due to our error or a manufacturing defect
  • Include your order number in the return package

Step 4: Receive Refund or Replacement

  • Upon receipt and inspection, we will process your request
  • Resolution typically within 14-21 business days

6. REFUND OPTIONS

Once your return is approved, you can choose:

6.1 Full Refund

  • Refunded to original payment method
  • Original product shipping cost is non-refundable
  • Return shipping cost is customer's responsibility (unless return is due to our error)
  • Refund processed within 14 business days

6.2 Replacement Product

  • Free replacement product shipped at no cost
  • Expedited shipping available upon request
  • No refund for return shipping

6.3 Store Credit

  • Full product credit to use on future purchases
  • Credit valid for 12 months
  • No expiration after 12 months (but we recommend using promptly)

7. REFUND TIMELINES

We are not responsible for delays caused by your bank, payment processor, or international customs.


8. SHIPPING COSTS

9. CONDITION OF RETURNED PRODUCTS

When returning your product, please ensure:

  • Clean condition — Wash and dry thoroughly before returning
  • Original packaging — If available, return in original box/packaging
  • No damage from misuse — Product must show no signs of intentional damage
  • Include all components — Removal tab, carry case, any accessories included with purchase

Products that arrive in unsatisfactory condition may be rejected, and your item will be returned at your expense.


10. INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

10.1 Australia

  • Return shipping is covered for defects/damage
  • Refunds processed to original payment method in AUD

10.2 Outside Australia

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs
  • Exception: If return is due to OVI Disc error or manufacturing defect, we will reimburse reasonable return shipping (up to AUD $30)
  • Refunds may incur currency conversion fees from your bank
  • Customs duties on return shipments are customer's responsibility
  • Return processing may take longer due to international mail delays

11. SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES

11.1 Allergic Reactions or Discomfort

If you experience:

  • Vaginal irritation or allergic reaction
  • Persistent discomfort during use
  • Suspected material sensitivity

Please discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. If you believe the product is defective (not a personal sensitivity), contact us within 7 days with:

  • Medical documentation or healthcare provider statement
  • Photos of any visible irritation or product damage
  • Detailed description of symptoms

We will assess on a case-by-case basis and may offer a refund or replacement.

11.2 Lost or Damaged in Transit

If your original order was lost or damaged during shipping:

  1. Contact us within 14 days with tracking information
  2. File a claim with the carrier (we can assist)
  3. Once claim is resolved, we will either:
    • Reship your product at no cost
    • Offer a full refund (less original shipping, which is non-refundable)

12. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

If you're unsatisfied with our return decision, please:

    • Detailed explanation of your dispute
    • Any additional evidence or photos
    • Your preferred resolution
  2. We will respond within 10 business days with a final decision
